The 1961 Baseball team, under the able coaching of Messrs. Newcomb and Bristol, completed a very successful season. Due to their hard work and dedication, the team compiled an impressive record of nine wins and four losses.
The 1939 Baseball team ended the season as one of the greatest ever to don the spikes for Pingry. Boasting nine spectacular wins, one lone tie kept the boys from a perfect season. They went on to capture the State Championship.
The 1962 Baseball team was a strong one in many respects. Coached by Mr. Newcomb and Mr. Bristol and captained by Frank Busse, the squad achieved a solid record of eight wins and seven losses to round out the year.
The 1963 Baseball team finished a very strong campaign with a 10-4 record, the best for a Pingry nine since the 1955 season. The team practiced hard to clinch many key victories during the season.
