Captures 11 Varsity Letters In Three Sports. A saying taken from Scott Aimetti’s senior page in the 1989 Bluebook reads “Swift, silent, and deadly.” This quote can be used to accurately describe his athletic career at Pingry and beyond. Scott’s athletic record includes state and county championships in soccer and baseball, All-American and All-State in soccer, All-State, All-Centry Jersey, and First Team All-County in basketball, 63 career goals in soccer, 1,400 career points in basketball, and a .395 batting average in baseball. During his sophomore year on the soccer team, Scott was moved from a sweeper position to left wing - a move that proved to be perfect for the team. Scott went on to propel his team to the State Prep A Soccer Championship, the first of many championships during his career. Scott’s prowess was evident in basketball with a record number of career points, averaging more than 20 points per game. In baseball, he was a four-year starter and saw the team take the state championship. Attending Villanova on a four-year full soccer scholarship, Scott made his mark at the collegiate level and continued to play soccer professionally in the U.S. and New Zealand.
